The big day is coming up! 3 weeks and counting. You really should celebrate Mom everyday, but the calendar designates one full day a year to do nothing but celebrate your Mama. This year it's Sunday, May 13.

Pepe & Sherina have put their modern spin on the popular stuffed animal from the 1930's...The Sock Monkey! They're no longer the standard grey and white with a red mouth. These lovely little guys and gals are made of all upcycled materials! Socks, of course, but tons of other materials as well! Each has it's own personality and style, from a camo vest to a strapless dress.

Artist Spotlight: Hau'oli by Hali

Summer is on it's way! Sandy feet, salty hair, and tan lines are in your near future. For local Huntington Beach artist, Hali, the beach is her home...her inspiration.

Hau'oli means "happy" in Hawaiian, a word she lives by. Rings, bangles, earrings and necklaces made with Hawaiian shells and recycled Sterling Silver or Gold Filled chain/wire. Everything is made with the help of her son (he gets to pick which shells she should use), her own two hands and tons of love!

Artist Spotlight: Unicorn Crafts

Let's take a trip back to the early 70's...1973 to be exact. The year plastic shrunk down a size and became a big hit. Talkin' about Shrinky Dinks! The cool plastic sheets you can doodle on and shrink down in your own oven!

Thanks to Faheema of Unicorn Crafts, Shrinky Dinks are making a comeback! She makes great jewelry and accessories from Shrinky Dinks. All the designs are created by her, right here in good ol' California.

Narwhal studs are swimming their way into the hearts and ears of all the girls!

Who said T rex's have to be scary? This little guy is so much cooler than Jurassic Park!

Hapa Collective wishes you all a very happy Easter! We've definitely enjoyed the beautiful Seal Beach sunshine and smiling faces!

March 1st marked our 1 year anniversary! So, it's time for us to move forward! We've conquered having a store front and facebook (http://www.facebook.com/hapacollective), we are now entering the blog world. For all you local Seal Beach-ians, you know who we are and what we do here...For those of you don't, WELCOME! We are an Artist Collective. We house over 90 local and regional artists on consignment, as well as feature great Vintage finds and resale.
